CENDECT runs six Creche Centres in the following villages viz., Kamatchipuram, Dharmapuri, Seepalakkottai, Kottur, Sukkangalpatti, Varusanadu with the help of Central social Welfare Board, New Delhi.
The main aim of the Creche programme is Child Care with pre-school education. Nutrient rich noon meals are given to the Creche children who are between the age of 6 months and 6 years. The main features focused in our Creches are physical, mental, social development.
Two trained teachers are working in each Creche Centre. The creche functions between 8.30 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. Fortnightly parent’s meetings are conducted involving Resource persons from Health and Nutrition Departments.
Our Creches are well-equipped with playthings, furnitures, Utensils, charts and mates. During this year, a total of 150 children have benefited through this Creche programme.
