VOCATIONAL TRAININGS

Training programmes are conducted with the purpose of providing new scientific knowledge and developing new skills required for adoption of latest agriculture, horticulture, veterinary and home management technologies.
During the year 2008-09, a total of 2406 persons were trained on various subject matter areas like Crop science, Horticulture, Animal science, Home science, Agricultural Extension, Plant protection and soil science through 105 training programmes. During this period 1140 practicing farmers, 1040 farm women and 226 rural youths were trained by the KVK. |
